Usability

The colours that have been used on this website are bright and mainly in red beacuse this is the colour that you would associate with Ferrari. the background colour is in white so the red stands off the page.
The site layout is good and uses rollovers on the navigation bar with the word changing colour when you go over it. also when you are on that page the tab changes colour so you know that you are still on that page. the layout of the pages are the consistent with each other.
The font size that is used is quiet small so if you had problems with your vision you may find that this website would be no good to you.
the images that are used are great it shows you new and old Ferrari’s in great detail.
the website overall is easy to use and very eye catching, it gives you get information about the cars and the background of the company.
Usability and Accessibility
October 16, 2006 by alex789Usability is used to make the website that you are using easy for the person that is using it. This is done by making the website so that the structure is well organised so that the website is so straight forward that the user feels comfortable using the website. By doing this people will tend to use the website more because they find it easy to use.
Accessibility needs to be considered when creating a website for people with disabilities by making sure that they will also be able to navigate around the website.
what is css
October 9, 2006 by alex789Cascading style sheets are used together with HTML to create coding which will determine the way in which the content is presented. rather than creating different styles in Microsoft word you can use CSS and create one rule which can then be applied to all of the headers of your pages. CSS is a get time saver you don’t have to keep typing font tags all the time CSS will work all over the website.
So using CSS will speed up the process of the styles by you only have to enter the rule in the headers of the webpages and it will follow through the whole website.
